As a qualified Veterinary Nurse and member of the British Veterinary Camelid Society I have acquired a wealth of experience and knowledge of alpaca husbandry and health during the twelve years I have bred them. I am always pleased to give practical help and advice as required.
Practical services provided include
- Foot Trimming - usually required 3-4 times a year
- Micro-chipping - for registration and security purposed. Micro-chips supplied and inserted with paperwork completed.
- Pregnancy Scanning - using non-invasive ultrasound your female can be scanned for pregnancy from 60 days after mating.
- Shearing - we are the main venue for shearing in North Shropshire. Just deliver your alpacas on shearing day and we will do the rest for you.
- Stud Services - quality young stud males, Jupiter Caramel and Oak Hill Crispin are available. Please email for details.
- Pasture, Paddock and Housing Advice - to help you obtain optimum benefit from your land for stress-free Alpaca ownership.
